Officer Joel Diaz has been employed by the Georgetown Police Department since 2003. He is currently a Patrolman First Class. He is also a member of the Emergency Response Team. Officer Diaz attended and completed a Basic Swat course conducted by the Delaware County Swat Team in Pennsylvania. He has also served in the departments Criminal Investigations Division. Officer Diaz is bilingual and provides translation to help communicate with the Hispanic community.
