The Town of Georgetown is seeking volunteers for Town committees!

Georgetown residents who are looking to get involved and contribute to the enhancement of our wonderful community are encouraged to apply for appointments on a Town committee!

We are currently seeking one (1) individual to serve on our Board of Adjustment, for the completion of a three-year term expiring January 2027. Each Board Member must be a resident of the Town of Georgetown and knowledgeable of the issues and problems of urban and rural planning and development. The Board hears and decides appeals regarding special exceptions, variances, and where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official in the administration or enforcement of Chapter 230 of the Town Code, known as the Zoning Code. The Board of Adjustment conducts regular meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m., if applicable.

Interested individuals are asked to complete and submit a Committee Interest Form, which can be found below under Additional Resources.

Completed forms are due on/before Friday, October 23, 2025, and appointments are anticipated to be made on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Regular Town Council Meeting.
